Diwali Annakut

Very grateful to be invited along to the local Geelong Diwali Annakut celebration hosted by BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha.

We love learning about different cultures and the beautiful ways they celebrate life and humanity.

There was a mountain of treats made with love and devotion by the community as an offering. After being offered up the food (prasad) is then shared with their community and beyond. It carries the blessings of the ceremony (and tastes amazing).

It is so fitting to experience this as we have been feeling the importance of gratitude and the many ways it can be expressed.
